Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan

Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan (2010) :: Yuki-Onna and Rikuo Nura figures. This was an unusual situation since the manga adaptation had to somewhat match the anime adaptation which was being done concurrently by another team. Graphic not representative of actual book.

PROJECT: Translate Hiroshi Shiibashi's manga series Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan (Nurarihyon no Mago) into English for well-known anime and manga publisher VIZ Media. This is an ongoing project; six volumes have been released so far.

SOFTWARE: Microsoft Word.

SCOPE: My role is to perform the English rewrite based on the literal translation done by Region Free's Yumi Okamoto, or occasionally Cindy Yamauchi. The script is then turned over to VIZ for final editing.

NOTES: Job perfomed as an employee of Region Free. All work completed at my home office.
